Denier comment of the day November 1, 2012

Today’s comment epitomises the world of the denier. It demonstrates just how little they understand the importance of expertise. It comes from some clown calling himself “True American Ohio”. In commenting on a blog entry over at WTFIWWAW about Hurricane Sandy he says…

I am a degreed chemical engineer and am reasonably confident that global warming/climate change had nothing to do with Hurricane Sandy

Well, TAO, that’s great! What other areas do you think your non-expert opinion counts in? Idiot.

You CLEARLY have not been following my extended fantasy dialogue with PhilJordan over at SUYTS. That shold supply you for the next week at least. He initially wrote that Sandy “did very little damage”. We are off to the races after my comment contesting that assertion.

At this point I think you should put me in a paid staff position.

    • Thanks for the heads up. I only pay in red wine and fine conversation if you want to pop over for dinner. I’ve been working out in the field collecting data for the last few weeks away from the internet and phone and home. I come back to civilisation to teach on Friday’s and do family stuff for the weekend. It’s been great going feral in the techfree sense.

PhilJ will have had a few uncomfortable days to reflect on his flippant idiot act as the news rolls in from NC,MD,DE,NJ,NY,CT,MA,NH…
